Robert "Twixx" Taylor is a true embodiment of North Las Vegas's entrepreneurial spirit. As a native son, he's spent the past two decades building a legacy with a series of successful small businesses, including a Barbershop Salon franchise, a Photography Studio, a Tattoo shop, a Used Clothing store, and an event promotions company, Two: Ent.
Since joining the Sigma Beta Club in 1992, Robert has been a committed community servant. As a dedicated member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated, he mentors youth, offers free entrepreneur seminars, and collaborates with nonprofits statewide. His initiatives have earned national attention, such as Nevada's first barbershop vaccination site, and he continues to provide free monthly health tests at his barbershops in partnership with the Southern Nevada Health District.
Venturing into the political arena, Robert contested the North Las Vegas Mayorship in 2022, further solidifying his dedication to effecting positive change. Robert is currently running for election to the North Las Vegas City Council to represent Ward 2 in Nevada. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. He advanced from the primary on June 11, 2024.
