Inspired by his wife Sydney and her love for entomology, Al reimagined what it would look like to study shoes the same way insects are studied in museums—carefully spread, pinned, and preserved. His breakthrough piece, a dissected Air Jordan 1 “Chicago,” sparked a movement, leading to his signature style: deconstructed sneakers framed as stunning anatomical works of art.
